Bangkok 3D/2N Trip Day 2 - Facial at Dee Saloon -> Central World -> Krispy Kreme at Siam Paragon -> Madam Tussadd's at Siam Discovery -> MBK -> Massage

Back at Sukhumkit, shopped at Robinsons. There was a home sale. Bought 8 plastic dining mats and the price was cheaper (19baht/each and buy 3 get 1 free) than that in the market back home ($1 verus 60cents after discount) , plus there were many nice designs to choose from. After that, we had facial at Dee Saloon just diagonally across the hotel at 800baht/person for an hour. This is the only shop that provided steaming. Had a relaxing time doing facial, in fact, we were so tired that we fell asleep during the facial.
After that, we took the BTS to Chitlom and walked to Central World.
Overhead skyway from chitlom to Siam BTS

En route, four faced buddha next to Hyatt Hotel

Central World, which was rebuilt after it was partially destroyed last year by rioters.

Bought a pouch from NaRaYa which was very crowded. Spotted 2 persons carrying Krispy Kreme boxes.  The shop was not at Central. Enquired at Siam Paragon next door and it was at the basement. Look at the queue! There was a separate queue for original glazed donuts.

Bought 2 original glazed donuts at 27baht each. They were also distributing defective doughnuts at the same time. I got 1 free! Not nice to look at but still yummy.

Yummy yummy. Forgot to tell them to take it hot from the conveyor belt otherwise it would have tasted even better!

To get to MBK, we walked through Siam Centre and Siam Discovery Centre. Madam Tussauds' Museum just opened in December.

MBK and its surroundings. Wanted to grab some titbits and have sticky rice mango here so decided to have a light dinner here.

MBK Foodcourt

We had Pad Thai @40baht and brown rice/vegetables, also @40baht. Pad Thai tasted sour.

Orange/pineapple juice 55baht each and sticky rice mango 80baht. The juice was very sour! The sticky rice mango is very nice! The drinks and deserts were more expensive than the mains!

After dinner, shopped for some titbits and went back to Hotel. Had massage again at Reflex Place but this time, the massage was not so good.
