Bangkok 3D/2N Trip Day 2 - Review of Sacha Uno Hotel -> Facial at Dee Saloon -> Dinner at Je Ngor -> Thong lor -> Massage

We paid 4708 baht plus 500 baht (for 3rd person) for 2 nights for the deluxe room. The charge for 3rd person is for breakfast. The sofa bed is free of charge. See last review for more details.
Big king size bed, this time without the squeaky sound when you turn on the bed.

Sofa bed at right corner.

Basic amenities

Longans and tea/coffee

We took turns to go facial as Dee Saloon can only accomodate 2 persons for facial at one time.
Cost: 800baht per person. After facial, it was time for dinner at Je Ngor. We took MRT to Lumpini and walked to Je Ngor. Ordered lime and free flow hot tea

Delicious kang kong or morning glory and crab fried rice - a must try!

Crab in tang hoon - the crab was fresh this time. Total bill : 1365 baht

After dinner, went to take a look at Thong lo Soi 38. This was how it looked..

Lots of food stalls but we are very full already.

And then we crossed over to Soi 55 to the Mae Varee fruit shop to buy mango rice which is supposed to be the best in Bangkok.

Outside the shop

Mae Varee Mango Sticky Rice 80baht - Yummy

A big shopping mall, Terminal 21, is currently being built near the Aoske BTS Station and it should offer more shopping and dining options once it is built.

Bangkok 3D/2N Trip Day 1 - Sacha Uno Hotel (Review)

We saw Hotel Sacha on our previous visit when we were staying at SILQ and Hubby said this hotel looked nice. We paid ~4,400baht with taxes included for 2 nights with breakfast included. Hotel is located in a very good location. The Asoke BTS and Sukhumkit MRT is about 150m away with many saloons and massage shops within walking distance from the hotel. Robinsons Shopping Centre/Tops supermarket and foodcourt are also nearby. There are 3 mini-marts in the area , with one directly opposite the hotel. Free Wifi/newspapers in hotel and room.
Hotel is pretty new so everything is clean. Hotel gave us free upgrade from superior to deluxe room and 2 welcome drinks. They also extended our checkout time to 2pm with no charge! If you dine at or call room service from Bistro19, the hotel cafe, you will be given 50% discount.
