Day 1 - Dinner at Hua Seng Hong restaurant, Chinatown

Dinner was at Hua Seng Hong restaurant, Chinatown. Always had the dumplings in ginger soup at this restaurant when we are in Bangkok. The restaurant is always very crowded so we thought the food must be good to attract so many customers. So this trip, we decided we must try the food here.
Shop Front

Ordered the sharkfin in claytpot. THB2500. Parsley and bean sprouts to go with the soup.

Prawn roll was nice. THB 200.

Thought the wanton noodles must be good, if not better than HK noodle. To our disappointment, the flour taste was too strong. The soup base was also not very tasty.

Morning glory - normal THB200.

Sharkfin was big but the soup again did not taste as good as Nam Sing, much to our disappointment. In fact, it had a bitter after taste.

Blood Birdnest with no condiments, unlike the ones served in Nam Sing. And it was lukewarm, not hot! THB250 per bowl

Dumpling in ginger - as good as before.

Verdict : Will not take dinner here again. Only the dumpling and prawn roll are worth trying.
