Day 3 - Dinner at Myeong Ga

Before dinner, we went to explore the soi opposite soi 15.

When we arrived at Korean Plaza, We were so disappointed to find our favourite restaurant Airang closed down - so sad. No other restaurant could beat the food standards and service of this restaurant.

Spent a while looking and choosing a restaurant to dine. Finally settled for Myeong Ga.

Acceptable food and service. The beef was not so good as Airang. Ambience lost to Airang.

Day 3 - High tea at Oriental Hotel

The highlight of the day was high tea at Author's Lounge at Oriental Hotel. Took the complimentary boat to the hotel and it was a very short ride to the hotel. Reservation was required. We took a light lunch so that we could stomach the high tea items.

Service was great, deco was very beautiful, ambience was very warm and comfortable. The food items were prepared delicately and presented very beautifully. We ordered one Oriential style high tea set to share and added 1 earl grey tea since the set only served 1 tea. The cost was about $45/person.

Menu showing the different food items.

The beautifully decorated stairways but it was a little hot in this room. The room behind the stairways was much cooler.

Then the high tea began ...

with many selection of tea.
