Day 5 - Onsen -> Dinner

We went to take a dip in the indoor onsen before dinner. Nobody else was there and I had the whole onsen to myself. Lovely! the small onsen had a good view of the Beppu Bay. However, the temperature of the water was quite hot, compared to the many onsens I had been to this trip! Ouch! Ouch! Did not soak too long as it was scorching hot. Then i went up one floor to take a peep at the outdoor onsen. It looked quite eerie whe you are all alone. Decided to give it a miss.

Dinner was at 6pm and guess what, we were the only pair in the restaurant! The other guests had probably gone out for dinner.
The menu was western soft beef with rice - fusion of western & chinese. Chips was replaced by rice!
Corn soup and salad! We ate lots of salad and greens this trip!

This is the restaurant, ぶんご亭 for dinner

Dining was in a public dining hall with partiton to improve the privacy.

Dinner was pork chanko-nabe.

Apple sobert and hot tea served at the end of the meal. Very satisfying and platable meal that warmed the tummy.

Day 5 - Beppuwan Royal Hotel -> Dinner

Finally reached Beppuwan Royal Hotel. This hotel has a indoor and outdoor onsen. The outdoor one is facing Beppu Bay but when you soak in the onsen, you cannot see the Beppu Bay anymore. LOL. Pretty nice modern hotel. Overall, a comfortable stay. Onsen was good.

Big and spacious lobby. There is a Harmonyland in Beppu so guess the hotel is advertising it.

Very beautiful view of Beppu Bay from our window. Most of our hotel room had good views!
