My son suggested walking to Central from the lower peak terminus.
Walking to Central
He led the way but we landed near Admiralty MTR Station so we took a the MTR to Central.
Pottinger Street, named in commemoration of Hong Kong’s first governor, Henry Pottinger
As we walked along, we found the escalator
Dropped by Tai Cheong to buy egg tarts. Each costed HK$5.
Wanted to take the tea milk at Lan Fang Yuan but it was closed! So we decided to drink milk tea at Honolulu Cafe.
Wanted to try their egg tart too.
Surprisingly, the cafe was not crowded. Condiments on table
Pork Chop Bun - tasted ok buut forgot the price since we paid in cash.
Tea milk - the one at kopitiam tasted better
My son ordered the fried noodles HK$60. Tasted ok but quite expensive. By now, we are half ull.
Tried their egg tart - not too bad. HK$6
Since we were so near Mak Kee, we decided to go and try their wanton noodle.
Free tea - this tea is better as it is hot. The free tea in Honolulu was cold.
Very small bowl but the wantons were big and each had a big prawn. The thin noodles were very "Q". Very nice.
We were walking to the Central Station to go to Causeway Bay when a group of locals held demonstrations again.
They were very orderly and not rowdy. One lane was closed for their demonstrations.
It was long snake of demonstrators!
After this, we took the MTR to Causeway Bay to Sogo to buy 恆香老婆餅 (HK$36) and the love letters (HK$64). After we walked to Times Square.
Times Square - modern and big shopping centre with many shops selling high end branded goods.
After roaming for a while, we took the MTR back to Sheung Wan.
And then transfer to Ding Ding at this stop
Ding Ding stop near the hotel
Went to Sheung Wan via Hotel shuttle. Along Hillier Street
to buy almond biscuit from Cookie Galeria but the shop was closed.
So we took Ding Ding back to Hotel
