The location of Sensa Hotel is good as it is just beside CiWalk Mall, which makes
dining very convenient when you are lazy to venture out. The road outside is always
very busy and dusty and jammed with cars, angkotans, etc.
There are angkotans going to Rumah Mode and Jalan Dago on the opposite one way street
of Jln Cipaganti. Just ask the driver and hop on. It costed about IDR2k to Dago, but
will have to transfer another angkotan (another IDR 1K) to the factory outlets. Did
not take that to Rumah Mode. We took a cab called by the hotel and it costed IDR35k.
We felt ripped off as the taxi's aircon was not working and it was a very, very old
taxi. We minus one point for the hotel for this.
The bed/pillows were very comfortable, as what others say. Amenities were adequent
and room was bright with 3 windows. So far, this is the only hotel room I have stayed
that has most windows. Most hotels only have one window. The shower area is unique
with no door but the floor does not get wet. The only problem we had was the safe
which was not working. Fedback the problem to hotel but no action was taken, even
till the day we checked out. Another negative point.
Breakfast was great with a lot of variety and we got to taste the mie baso one morning.
That was great because we got to taste this popular street food without having to
worry that we will get a stomach upset!
The hotel provides free transfer from the airport but the return journey costs IDR75000.
Overall, a value for money hotel because of its location and comfort level.
Our room was 901.
