Day 2 - Dinner near the Nagasaki Dejima Wharf

It was dinner time at one of the shops at Nagasaki Dejima Wharf 長崎港 after the theme park. The wharf was a beautiful and serene place. The area around Dejima wharf used to be a fan shaped man made island in the port of Nagasaki, constructed in 1636 to isolate the Portuguese from the Japanese and control their missionary work. After the Portuguese were expelled from Japan a few years later, a Dutch trading factory was moved to Dejima. The Dutch workers, the only remaining Westerners allowed in the country, were restricted to Dejima during Japan's two centuries of isolation. Today, Dejima is not an island and the area around Dejima Wharf is an open-air collection of restaurants, bars, shops and galleries, all facing the bay. Currently, works are on-going to restore Dejima to its original appearance.

Dinner was at the corner shop facing the sea. It was a simple japanese dinner with chicken and eel. The tea tasted very funny - it tasted like coffee.

Day 4 - Breakfast -> Sakurajima Island, 桜島 -> Satzuma lunch at Sakurajima Island, 桜島 -> Ibuzuki Hot Sand Bath -> Dinner -> Kagoshima Rembrandt Hotel

Day 5 - Breakfast -> Super Long journey to Mt Aso National Park -> Mt Aso Museum (cable car was suspended due to bad weather ) -> Journey to Beppu -> Beppuwan Royal Hotel -> Dinner

Day 6 - Breakfast -> Chi-no-ike Jigoku (Blood Pond) -> Journey to Fukuoka -> BBQ/Sushi buffet lunch -> Robosquare - > Tenjin underground shopping street -> Hakata Canal City -> Ramen @ Ramen Stadium -> Excel Tokyo Hotel -> Walk along the Naka River -> Ichiran ,一蘭 Tonkotsu Ramen Dinner -> Walk to Tenjin -> Area around the hotel

Day 7 - Area around the hotel -> Breakfast - > Morning flight Home Sweet Home
