Day 3 - Dinner at Chandrphen
This place was recommended by my colleague. Located within walking distance from Lumphini MRT, its location was very convenient.
The restaurant was beneath this building.
One of the servers was from China and could speak mandarin.
We ordered half roasted chicken which tasted pretty the same as that from Singapore. Supposed to be the top dish.
Seafood Glass noodles. Hubby does not like this dish.
Ginger dumpling, as good as Hua Seng Fong.

Day 3 - Lunch at Pochana Duck/Saew, ThongLor
After lazing in the hotel, it is time for lunch. Will be taking Pochana duck at Thonglor, as recommended. Took a train to Thonglor, then transfered to the police station opposite the duck store. Taxi fare was THB40.
The police station opposite the coffee shop.
How the coffee shop looked from the police station
The exterior looked different from the website. I thought we went to the wrong place. Signboard is the same though.
There was only one store selling duck. That must be the one. The store owner could speak some english surprisingly. she asked if we wanted duck noodles.
Other food stalls in the coffee shop.
Our small bowl of duck noodles, THB40. Tasted ok but not that fantastic. Also, the location is definitely not convenient.
Took cab back to Thonglor and we continue to Saew to have our noodles.
Hubby ordered dry mee kia
I ordered mee tai mak. Yummy. This one is worth trying again and again. The soup is very sweet.

Day 3 - Breakfast at SILQ
Breakfast was quite ok at SILQ. Pretty complete with western, continental and chinese food and fruits and deserts too. The food is not hot though. The menu is changed everyday. There is no egg station but you can order from the staff. One serving though.
Breakfast spread
Table setting
Restaurant is brightly, warmly and colourfully decorated with pastel theme. It helps to increase your appetite.

Dinner was back at our old haunt and favourite restaurant, Nam Sing
See old post for our lunch at Nam Sing.
My favourite chrysantham drink and the pasley/bean sprouts for the sharkfin.
Hubby's favourite crab fried rice
Sharkfin THB2200
Hot blood birdnest with condiments
After dinner, strolled the streets of Chinatown which was bustling with people and vehicles and roadside stalls.
A quiet Trok Issaranuphap Market at night
