Bandung 4D/3N Trip Day 2 - Shopping at Jalan Riau/Lunch at Cafe Bali/Massage at Roger's

After breakfast, it was time for shopping. Our target area was Jalan Riau this morning. We thought that Jalan Riau was quite near our hotel so we decided to take a stroll there. The weather was very good and sunny, I would say hot!

Before hitting Jalan Riau, decided to shop first at Bandung Indah Plaza for Ralph Lauren Polos.
Bandung Indah Plaza. There is a Matahari Departmental Store in here and the only Polo by Ralph Lauren Store in Bandung (they claimed to be) was here on the 2nd floor. And they were having 30% discount! We bought 5 pieces of polo T-shirts.

After this, we headed for Jalan Riau

The first one was Secret FO. Did not buy anything here.

Opposite Secret

The Oasis - we bought some RL polos here.

Branded Club FO. Did not buy anything

Around Branded Club FO. Terminal Mas and ForMen. Bought a belt from ForMen.

Cascade FO - quite a nice FO- Bought some AIX polos here.

Heritage FO


It was a long walk to Heritage/Cascade. After all the shopping, it was time for lunch. We hailed a cab to Cafe Bali, recommended by many. The meter did not jump at all, it stayed at 6000rp. However, cab driver said that the minimum charge was 10k rp. Still cheap.
Ordered 3 chocolate shakes and a Jasmine tea


My son ordered beef elementary lok steak - Rp54.5k

And I ordered black pepper steak, recommended by many. Taste was ok. Beef was very thin though. Rp39.5k

Hubby ordered Chicken Rice Set - Nasi Timbel Komplit Rp37.5k

My daughter ordered fried rice - very salty - Rp22.5k

Kailan and fried kuey teow to share - Rp17.5k/25k respectively

The kuey teow was very salty too

Took a cab back to Hotel at 15k rp. After a short rest, hubby and I took the Angkotan Kota (costed only 1k rp/person) to Roger's.

We chose the 1.5hrs massage which costed 130k rp each before tax. The massage was good and the ambience was good. We could take a shower after the massage. After massage, went to look for Amanda bakery, but it was closed for the day. We had fun taking the 'Angkutan Kota' again back to Hotel. Just say "kiri, kiri" to stop. They can stop anywhere.
This one plys along Jalan Dago and there were so many of them. You hardly need to wait for one. They wait for you too!

Day 3 – Breakfast -> Shopping at Jalan Dago -> Lunch at Kedai Timbel Dago -> Massage/Facial at Roger's -> Shopping at Kartika Sari -> Dinner at Sambara

Day 4 - Break fast -> Home Sweet Home -> Shopping Stuff
