Kumamoto Station

Fiesta Shop at Kumamoto Station

The shinkansen is at the back of Kumamoto Station. Local trains and limited express are at the front.

Along the walkway to front of station, found this mural with many cute Kuros

Tram is one of the mainpublic and cheap transport in Kumamoto city. The flat fare is 150yen per trip while a day pass costed 500yen. The tram here is broader and wider than that in HK.
Colourful trams

Took the line A tram to Karashimacho station 辛島町. This was Shimotori (下通り shopping area. Pretty quiet tonight. Not many people. Very spacious though.

After looking around, we decided to take dinner in this restaurant

Restaurant bar counter

Hubby ordered hot mixed noodles since the weather was so cold 860yen

Beef noodles 690yen. Verdict : ok. Good enough to fill our stomaches and keep us warm. :)

Back at Hakata station, we were pleasantly greeted by the bright lights and christmas decoration.
