I took a second dip in the indoor onsen and this time, I was not alone. I had company! Today, the water was not too hot, jsut nice! Strange, it was so hot the day before! Again, went upstairs to take a look at the outdoor onsen and it looked exactly the same as the indoor onsen except it is open with half of the windows removed.
< br/> And soon, it was time for breakfast in the same restaurant we had our dinner the night before. It was a buffet breakfast, with a pretty good spread of dishes, offering both western and japanese fare. There were quite a number of guests in this hotel. It was more crowded this morning, compared to yesterday.

After breakfast and resting a while, we checked out and made our way to JR Beppu Station to catch the Limited Sonic 5 to JR Oita Station to transfer to a JR Kyudai train to Yufuin.

It was a short 10mins ride to Oita. We wished we could be in the train longer . The limited express Sonic was pure white with very luxurious and comfortable sests. After we arrived at Oita, we exited and roamed about the area around station.
Unfortunately, there were a lot of contructions on-going and the scenery was not that inviting.
This was the JR Kyudai train we were taking to Yufuin. It was a 2 car local diesel train.

Before boarding the Yufu no Mori (ゆふいんの森, we took another shot of the Yufin Shopping Street , Yufumi Doori (由布見通り with Mt Yufu as the background. Its peak was covered by clouds today.
