Day 5 - Riomaggiore befrore sunrise -> Breakfast -> Monterosso -> Ferry Ride to Riomaggiore -> Lunch at Veciu Muin

Hubby got up early before sunrise to take shots of Riomaggiore Marina

After Maggie mee & egg breakfast, went to purchase the 1 day cinque terra pass which included all regional train rides from La Spezia to Levanto, all blue path hiking tracks, all shuttle buses and free entry to restrooms. It costs 16euro per card so once one makes 4 trips, it already covers the cost. Furthermore, one need not queue to buy single trip ticket. So it is very handy and convenient.

Then we took the train to Monterosso where we will catch the ferry back to Riomaggiore
Train Station

As it was still early to take the ferry, we roamed in Monterosso , famous for its beaches before strolling to the old town's ferry point.

Bought 3 one way ferry ticket at 12euro/person and only cash is accepted.

Below are pictures taken from the ferry en route to Riomaggiore

Vernazza

Corniglia perched on a high hill without a harbour

Colourful village of Manarola

And finally Riomaggiore

Cinque Terra is really a very pretty and colourful village.

Rested a while at airbnb before having lunch at Veciu Muin which opened at 12pm. They do not accept credit cards. Payment in cash only.

Fried squids with salad as sides. All entrees were at 10euro, so it was really value for money!

Fish with fries

Spaghetti with mussels

Bread

Lettuce as side

And finally tiramisu

Total Bill was 41.50 euro. The food here was quite good and tasty. Would recommend.
