Day 10 - Day 10 - Breakfast -> Car to Plitvice Lakes -> Upper Lakes Route H -> Lower Lakes

The driver we engaged to bring us to Plitvice Lakes National Park and then to Split would be picking us at 715am. Had an early breakfast, washed up and checked out. Driver was already waiting for us outside the apartment when we left the building.

We paid 400euro for this service. It took about 2 hrs to reach the lakes and the temp was 4C. The waterfalls are not so spectacular but the lakes are huge in size. Hubby said it was the western jiuzaigou.

End of the upper lake where we took the boat to lower lake. This will save us some walking. Most tourists start from lower lake.

For lunch, we ate crossiants brought from Zagreb. Also, shared 2 hot dog buns and fries at the fast food shop here for 55 kuna














The Big Fall - the water volume will be at the fullest during summer.

We finished touring the lakes around 3pm. The journey to Split took another 2 hours. It was a very scenic drive to Split.
