It took about an hour to hit the first Island Klement on the open sea. It really scared me out of the wits. I held so tightly to the railing as the sea water was so close to me and the wind was blowing so fiercely and directly at me! The captain dropped us there to pick other tourists from Hvar.
The water was very clear
Next stop was the green cave on smaller island of Ravnik, near Vis, a part of Vis archipelago.
but as it was too early, it was not green at all. Smaller boats are used to ferry us to these caves. Paid 150kuna to see nothing for 5mins.
Green Cave tickets – 50kuna/person
Best time to view this cave is at noon when the sunlight comes in through this hole.
It was still early so the cave was not green.
Then the boat brought us to was Vis island with a very small stretch of beach, Stivina. They used a tube to ferry us to the beach after parking the boat at a distance from the island. Adventurous ones can swim to the beach.
Wave Rock at next stop.
After that, we rode to Bisevo to see the blue Grotto (cave). There was a queue and we needed to wait for a while for our turn. In summer, it will be hours. We were transferred to another boat to visit the blue cave. The visit lasted about 10mins.
Blue cave tickets – 70kuna/person
Entrance to blue cave - we need to bend our body and head to enter!
Wow, the blue Grotto was beautiful but would think there may be many in other parts of the world.
After the blue cave, the tour leader brought us to another cave where you can swim with the fishes
