Taiwan Trip Dec 6-14 - Day 1 Dinner in Taipei at 肥前屋

Once touched down, we took the Toward You Air Bus to Ambassador Hotel. Costed NT90/person. From there, we walked to Dandy Hotel. It was very windy that night. After check-in (the hotel was expecting us) and putting the luggages in the rooms, it was almost 9pm. We rushed to 肥前屋, the japanese restaurant which were recommended by many taipei food bloggers. It was less than 1 min walk from the hotel.

Checked with them and they said we could still order though they are preparing to close shop. That's why no long queue. Below is the exterior 肥前屋

From Jap Restaurant

肥前屋 interior... Ordered toufu and bean sprouts - tasted ok The famous unagi rice with miso soup. Nice!! They ran out of green tea since they were closing already. The tea was free flow with any order. Never felt so thirsty before but no choice. Sigh. Mixed vegetable Yakitori - nice Tempura - nice. Total cost about NT1200.
