Finally reached Wulai Old Street. This is a two way street which is one car wide. My son asked me what happened when 2 cars meet each other in the middle of the street. Beats me!
First street food - sausage. There were many stalls, not sure which stall to buy from. Need to wait for about 5mins.

Pretty nice old street.
Went to try the food at the much recommended 雅泰婆婆. This was the 小米麻糬 bought just now.
We ordered cabbage, bamboo rice and dumpling but the food was a disappointment. The taste was quite bland. Spent about NT60-70.
Finally, wanted to try the spring chicken 原木悶烤噴汁甕仔雞 recommended by 食尚玩家就要醬玩 but our stomaches cannot take in anymore food. So, it is back to Taipei town. After resting a while at the hotel, went to have dinner at 和田涮涮鍋 at 新光三越二舘。 We ordered 4 sets but since there were 5 of us, the waitress told us to order another NT100 worth of food before we can share. Sounds reasonable.
Lots of vegetables
The food was good, especially the beef. I loved the iced tea - tasted very fragrant. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Total cost also ~NT1200. That's the end of day2.
