Taiwan Trip Dec 6-14 Day 5 Ximengting/Shilin NM/Dinner at Shilin Night Market

Rested for some time before moving to Ximenting. Lingered a short while there and left for Shilin NM since no one was really interested to buy anything. We already roamed here last June trip. Took some photos. Nice street scenes at night. The other trip was done in the day.



Ah Zhong mianxian - crowded as usual but strangely, it was not to our taste.

Next stop, Shilin Night Market. Lots of illegal hawkers who totally disappeared later.

Bought the small sausages here. Different packing from Miaokou NM though. Yummy.

Super long queue at Chicken Chop Shop - did not try this time. Took it the last time in June trip.

Pork chop set meal with tea and corn soup. Ordered 4 set meals. Costed about NT600. Standard of food so so. No one liked the corn soup.

That marked the end of day5. Bought some wantons for supper before we left. Back at hotel, took some night shots outside the hotel.

My daughter tried this stall's xiaolongbao few days ago. Verdict: not nice. But it was really cheap. 10 baos for NT50.
