Taiwan Trip Dec 6-14 Day 5 Arrived at Taipei/Lunch at 囯賓大腸煎

After dropping our bags at Dandy, we took MRT to Shuang Lian MRT. Initially wanted to try 雙連大腸煎 but it was closed. So we walked further down the corridor to look for 囯賓大腸煎. The temperature was quite hot that day and it was quite a long walk.

Shot from the other side。 The shop is very very small. I think it has only about 4 tables for 4. At the corner is a restroom.

Ordered 魯肉飯 - so so only

Also ordered vegetables and 大腸煎 which could not match up to that in Jiayi's 郭家糯米腸. The outer layer is a little hard and the sauce is also not as nice as that of Jiayi's 郭家糯米腸. But the small cucumber is crunchy and nice.

Ordered also 嘴邊肉 Frankly not sure what this is. Is this really the meat near the pig's mouth?

Also ordered tofu

Lastly, ginger fish soup - quite nice

Went to buy 豆花 from 古早味豆花 and have it in 囯賓


Around the shop. Furtherdown to the right is NingXia Road where the Night Market was.

Finally, we reached 雙連圓仔湯 shop.

Wanted to try the 燒麻糬 and their ice desert so bought these two deserts to take away.

Mixed ice desert 刨冰 NT70 and 燒麻糬 NT55. Muah Chee is nice.
