Ordered 肉羹 starchy meat soup NT50, the famous baos NT5 each, of course and 水餃 NT3 each。
Verdict - quite ok. After that, we went next door 周家蒸餃 to try the 蒸餃. BTW, did not know what was the difference between 水餃 and 蒸餃. Both tasted the same to me. 周家蒸餃 has air conditioning so it was cooler. Weather at Hualian was quite warm though it was supposed to be winter.
Next, strolled along the corridor and came to 一品香扁食. Tasted alright. Later, learnt from the younger Mr Looi that this is not the best shop. We tried the better one the next evening.
Also tried the hand made 曾記麻糬 which is super fresh, big, nice and yummy. NT10 each. Only the ground and read bean tasted nice.
Did not walk the other food street. We attempted to walk all the way to 南濱公園 using the below street - forgot to look at the street name.
A short stop at a tea shop 黎明紅茶. The lady was very friendly and keep giving us free samples of different type of tea, almond drink, etc. Very refreshing drink indeed. Felt bad so bought a almond drink from her.

Nanbin Beach - not very spectular. The Night market was not opened yet as it was still early.
After that, walked back to the food street and went to buy 奶梅 from 惠比須 and 7 packets of 小麻糬 from 发曾記麻糬 along 中華路 before going back to hotel to rest before dinner.
