Taiwan Trip Dec 6-14 Day 6 - Shifen Sky Lantern 十份放天燈

After Yeliu, Meeky drove us to Shifen to release sky lantern in the day! He said tourists did it in the day while the locals do it in the night! He recommended two shops - 吉祥 and 阿嫲. We choose 吉祥 since it is the first shop.

Shifen street/town gave a very calm, quiet and peaceful feeling. I love this place. especially the railway in between the 2 rows of shops.


Choosing a lantern. The big board gave information on what the colour of each lantern represented. It costed NT100 for a lantern.

We chose a red/white lantern which represented health and brightness for everyone. Health is wealth. We are going to release the lantern. Ready?
