Day 6 - Windmills of Kato Mili -> Little Venice -> Paraportiani Church -> Chlora -> DERA inner at Vegera

Adonis Hotel is very near to the windmills amd Little venice. Route to Kato Mills just involved a short walk thru many shops. Enroute to Windmills of Kato Mill

White washed houses and shops along the way

Windmills of Kato Mill near the seaside

Steps leading to the rocky beach between the Kato Windmills and Little Venice

The beach - the wind speed for the 2 days were about 40-50km/h

Little Venice - its banks overflowed with sea water

Dedicated to the Virgin of St. Rosary, the only Catholic Church on the island situated in the picturesque Alefkandra Square near Mykonos' famous windmills.

Another church close by with red door and window - Katholiki Ekklisia Panagia tou Rοdariou

Chlora Town with white washed buildings, narrow clobbered streets and matching pastel coloured railings and colourful merchandise on sale.

Another church with red dome in Paraportiani Square - Agios Vlasis

Church of Panagia Paraportiani situated in the neighbourhood of Kastro of Chora. Its name means "Our Lady of the Side Gate" in Greek, as its entrance was found in the side gate of the entrance to the Kastro area. This unimpressive, plain whitewashed church actually consists of five separate churches which are joined together: the four churches (dedicated to Saint Eustathios, Saint Sozon, Saints Anargyroi and Saint Anastasia) are at ground level and constitute the base of the fifth church that has been built above them.

Continued on the maze of clobbered streets ...

Popolo cafe

Hotel recommended dinner at old Port. we were undecided which restaurant to dine.

We decided to try Vegera. The owner, wearing a thick coat, was welcoming the diners personally outside the restaurant in the strong winds and cold weather.
