Stoa of Attalos

Hiked up the Mar Hills or Aeorpagus Hill where Apostle Paul preached the gospel to the Greeks 2000 years ago. It was a very rocky and slippery hill. Great care was required when walking on the hill.

From here, one can a view of Propylaea, entrance of Acropolis

Acropolis tickets costed 20€ per person. We entered at around 4pm. It closed at 6pm.

Immediately after the entrance was Odeon of Herodes Atticus

The Acropolis was closing at 6pm so we had to rush to Theatre Dionysus Eleuthereus
Theatre Dionysus Eleuthereus. It had many birds as Visitors

En route to exit

After exiting from Acropolis, we took a stroll along the streets, bought groceries for tomorrow's breakfast. Strangely, all the small grocery stores do not stock bread loaf. Plenty of bakeries as well as people around the apartment though, smoking, drinking chatting.
Back at Monastiraki Square, it was time for dinner

View of Parthenon from the square

We bought gyros and chicken set with salad from Thansis, a recommended restaurant in Souvlaki street in Monastraki Square, to dine in the comfort of the bnb. Total cost was 9€.
