Nicest and biggest hotel room for the entire trip. My family of four booked two japanese/western 36m2 rooms through Odakyu Travel at 21,900yen/person/night which includes breakfast and dinner and all taxes.
It is the nearest hotel to Gora Station, less than 2mins’ walk and there is a direct bus going to Gotemba Premium Outlet from the bus stop no 2 opposite the hotel. It will stop outside the outlet. There is no transfer needed. First bus is at 9.40am. Journey was about 55mins. These were 2 reasons why I choose this hotel.
We checked in earlier when we arrived at Gora Station, so they brought the luggages up to the room.
Complimentary ice-cream after check-in.
Ice cream coupons
Small Shop on level 1 - we got the ice cream from here. There were nice, colourful yukatas to choose from the shelves on the right besides the small shop. The standard ones are in the wardrobe.
Our room keys.
Our room number
Shoe rack to wear your shoes/slippers after entering the room. Nice wooden japanese slippers to choose from too.
Toilet just after entering the room. Recycled water after washing your hands goes to the toilet cistern. Very good idea.
2 twin beds on raised platform with japanese table and chairs. You can opt to sleep on futon on the floor where the table and chairs are.
Mirror
Hot water and fridge and big wardrobe with safe box, standard yukatas and towles.
Green Tea, if you know how to prepare.
Shower room on the left, separated from the basin area. All amenities provided.
Outdoor wooden bathtub, if you want to soak.... Water is not sourced from hotspring though.
Balcony area
We stayed on the 4th floor, overlooking nicely landscaped lush gardens.
Two lovely baskets to keep and carry towels/belongings to hotsprings.

Restaurant
After dinner, wanted to take a walk around Gora Station but all was quiet as all the shops were closed. They catered mainly to the tourist crowds during the day. Gora Station and the small train at night.

Hotel Map showing the locations of the hotsprings on the second floor.
There are 3 private hotsprings for couples besides the public indoor and outdoor ones. Hubby and I soaked in the private hotspring 3 times during our stay. Very private and nice! And the water temperature was just perfect.
One of the 3 private hotsprings for couples.
Changing Area with table, hooks, chairs and towels - Very thoughtful. No shower though.
The temperature of the water was just right. Very enjoyable and private.
You lock the door when using the private hotspring
If the light in the birdhouse corresponding to each private hotspring is turned on, it means it is occupied.
Chilled bottles of yakult along corridor outside the public hot srpings
Free ramen for supper after 10pm. Nice!
