This hotel was recommended by the Odakyu agent as I wanted a hotel near Lake Ashi. Another reason given by agent was this hotel has a view of Mt Fuji on a clear day. Unfortunately, it was cloudy today and so Mt Fuji could not be seen,
We stayed in 1 Japanese room and the rate was 10,500yen/person. It was very cold in the room so the hotel staff had to bring in a heater. Room size was quite enough for 4 futons which they laid while we had our dinner.

Our room was supposed to have a view of Mt Fuji

All the futons are kept in the cupboards
The bathroom/toilet was very small, smaller than the one in Sardonyx. There was an additional sink just outside the bathroom.
Colourful toothbrushes
View of Lake Ashi. A storm was imminent.
There is a rule in this hotel that we have to wear a jacket provided by hotel when wearing the yukata. As it was a special day for ladies, my daughter and I got the colourful yukata for free. On normal days, there is a charge for these nicer yukatas.
Hotel Lobby - pretty big and nice.
Check-in/checkout counter
Hotel Front/car park
Chapel in Hotel
We had Japanese Kaiseki dinner again and the highlight was Abalone!!

The futons were laid on the floor after we were back from dinner
We really had nothing to do since this hotel is in the middle of no-where. I think I will not stay here again. Lesson learnt is never take the hotels chosen by travel agents. They are always below my expectation.
It rained heavily throughout the night. End of Day4.
