Day 2 : Lunch at Wong Chi Kei 黃枝記, Desert at 義順牛奶公司 Leitaria I Son, Sharkfin at 添發魚翅 at 福隆新街, Pork chop bun at 勝利茶餐廳

Wong Chi Kei 黃枝記 - checking what was available on the menu

Pretty small and cramped inside

Our table

My son ordered the meat balls - so so only. This is the most expensive dish we ordered. It costed MOP42.

Also ordered wanton noodles (竹昇打麵) - the noodles were very thin and was nice. These noodles were hand made using a big bamboo - 人手自家竹篙打面. This costed MOP21. Wanton is nice too. Also ordered a bowl of wanton soup (MOP22) - forgot to take photo.

And fried rice which was quite nice. It costed MOP31. Total cost for this meal was MOP116.

After lunch, went to Yishun 義順牛奶公司 Leitaria I Son for Double Steamed Milk pudding

Inside the Leitaria I Son shop

Ordered the cold milk pudding - it had very strong milk smell - did not really like it.

Also ordered Pork Chop Bun - the pork chop is thinner and smaller, compared to 大利來記 and 勝利.

Next, went to 福隆新街 which is within walking distance from Senado Sqaure. Wanted to try the famous 祥記蝦仔撈面 but the shop was closed. It would re-open for business the next day. We will be back.

A lot of shops selling shark fin

Colourful street with red doors and windows

Went to try the shark fin at 添發翅美食 recommended by bloggers。 Addres is 福隆新街18號.

Wating for seats to be available. The shop is very very small and cramped.

Ordered two bowls of shark fin at 35MOP each. Nothing spectular.

Next, went to 勝利茶餐廳 along 營地大街 to buy pork chop bun. Some bloggers said this is the best pork chop bun in Macau. Address is 營地大街94號.

Yes, agreed. This is the best pork chop bun of the 3 I tasted. The pork chop is thicker, bigger and tastier than 大利來記豬扒包 and 義順. Also, there is no need to queue but I waited quite a while, about 15mins for them to prepare. The queue at 大利來記 moved much faster.
