Day 3 : Vasco da Gama Garden, Fisherman's Wharf

Vasco da Gama Garden is just below the Royal Hotel



Statue of Vasco da Gama who was a Portuguese explorer who was the first person to sail from Europe to India and was responsible for Portugal's success as an early colonizing power and eventual coming to Macau

After visiting the garden, we took the hotel shuttle bus to Sands Hotel which is opposite Fisherman's Wharf's entrance. Located on the waterfront of the Outer Harbor, Macau Fisherman's Wharf is the first theme entertainment and amusement complex in Macau. Entrance to Fisherman's Wharf

There are many theme buildings, such as Italian Riviera, Spain, Amsterdam, Cape Town, Lisbon and New Orleans

Aqua Romanis, a Roman-themed shopping centre with Sands Hotel in the background and Roman Amphitheatre on the right. The outdoor Colosseum is equipped with 2,000 seats, designed as a venue for concerts and other performances.

Vulcania, a 40m tall replica volcano which 'erupts' every evening and inside of which the 'River of Fire' white-water and 'Dragon Quest' rollercoaster rides are housed.
