Breakfast was in a small breakfast room near the entrance, next to the lobby. Usual fare was served.
After breakfast, we set off for Big Sur.
Start of Big Sur after leaving Monterey, Carmel. The coastal scenery along beautiful blue Pacific Ocean were spectacular!
Rocky Creek Bridge, similar to the Bixby Bridge but yet different

Entrance to Pfeiffer beach
Pfeiffer beach, the beach with purple sand
Can you spot the purple sand? The darker shade was the purple sand.
A swamp near the beach
We stopped by here , the Big Sur Deli, to buy deli sandwiches for lunch
Then we were off on our journey again. More scenic shots ahead. I missed the Mcway Falls because I did not realise
or forgot that the entrance to the falls was at the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park.
Finally arrived at the end of Big Sur, the Ragged Point
Our lunch from Big Sur Deli. It costed 30.45USD!
The final point of attraction was the Elephant Seal Rookery, San Simeon after the Piedras Blancas lighthouse.
Wow! There were so many of them! A very interesting sight!
These elephant seals have noses that resemble the elephant trunk!
There were so many of them and most of them were sleeping!
This one is awake and making noise!
