Day 6 - Breakfast at Hotel -> Outlet Shopping at Barstow -> Drive to Williams, Arizona -> Check in Best Western, Williams (Review) -> Dinner at Western View Steak House

Breakfast again was the usual stuff like scrambled eggs, patty, etc. Nothing special. Then we were off to Barstow outlet and shopped till we dropped. Surprisingly, the prices here are more expensive than Gilroy though the tax was lower. The old outlet we visited 16 years ago had been closed and replaced by a new one opposite the old site. Even the food outlets were re-built.

We settled our lunch at the outlet. Hubby and I had chinese food at Panda Express. The 3 children went to lunch at In-Out Burger.
The newly built Panda Express

Fried Rice with Brocolli and it costed only USD4! What a surprise!

After lunch, we made our way towards Williams. Below was taken at a rest stop.

It took about 5 hrs to reach the Best Western Williams. The weather was getting colder and there was snow along the highway. We arrived to a snow covered hotel ground, almost like in Winter Wonderland. Wow, it was really cold! And it did snow for a short while

We booked 2 rooms - 1 King and 1 Queen bedroom for 2 nights. The King costed 300.76USD for 2 nights while the queen costed 320.80USD
for 2 nights with breakfast included. The room was big and spacious and cozy, a great relief from the great cold outside. The bed was
comfortable. Water pressure was strong and the water was hot. There is coffee and tea in the room.
Best Western Inn Williams is a beautiful hotel that sits on a big area with a nice, big lobby. There is a restaurant and lounge on site.
The self laundry room was next to our room so it was very convenient!
Comfortable King bed!

Snow covered cars the next monring - we have to clear off the snow from our car.

Since we were tired after the long journey plus it was very cold outside, we decide to have the dinner at the hotel.
We ordered 3 dinner sets to share among 5. Service and food was great. They helped to cut the steak and split into two plates for us.
All entries included bread and butter, choice of soup or salad and two sides.
Choices of sides

On such a cold day, we chose soup over salad

16oz Newport Porterhouse - New York Strip and Tenderlion - tender and juicy

12z Newport New York Strip - my daughter commented that it was tougher than the strip

Total bill was 124.39USD
